Small, with a distinctive flattened shape, Borrettane onions are naturally mild and sweet. Here they are marinated in the best balsamic vinegar, from the ancient town of Modena, for a unique, full flavour.

Deliciously crunchy eaten on their own, they add taste and texture to antipasti, sandwiches and salads and are a popular accompaniment to meat and fish dishes
