Penne al Tricolore
Ingredients
- 500g Penne Rigate
- 250g Pesto Tre Colori (sundried tomato and basil pesto with grana padano and nuts)
- 300ml Double cream
- 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- Black pepper
- Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Fill a large pan with water.
- Add salt and oil
- Add the pasta to the boiling water
- Leave the pasta for the time stated on the pack and stir every couple of minutes to prevent the pasta from sticking
- Take a frying pan, add “Pesto Tre Colori” and double cream, stir for 2-3 minutes on a low heat
- Once the pasta is ready and “al dente” drain it and add it to the frying pan
- Mix all the ingredients together for 1-2 minutes
- Add black pepper and parmesan cheese
- Serve
