Penne al Tricolore

Ingredients

  • 500g Penne Rigate
  • 250g Pesto Tre Colori (sundried tomato and basil pesto with grana padano and nuts)
  • 300ml Double cream
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Fill a large pan with water.
  2. Add salt and oil
  3. Add the pasta to the boiling water
  4. Leave the pasta for the time stated on the pack and stir every couple of minutes to prevent the pasta from sticking
  5. Take a frying pan, add “Pesto Tre Colori” and double cream, stir for 2-3 minutes on a low heat
  6. Once the pasta is ready and “al dente” drain it and add it to the frying pan
  7. Mix all the ingredients together for 1-2 minutes
  8. Add black pepper and parmesan cheese
  9. Serve
